Welcome, I’m Leandra
Licensed MFT
Art Therapist
As an integrative therapist, I weave art therapy, somatic, mindfulness approaches and evidence-based therapies to empower holistic healing of mind, body, & spirit.
I believe creating space to reflect and connect with yourself is the first step to changing your life and one of the greatest acts of self-love. Our calmer nervous systems and nourished energy then ripple out to our communities, creating exponential change. You can step into the beauty of your full authentic self, when unburdened by conditioned beliefs, self judgment & fear.
How We Work Together
I value bringing deep respect, curiosity and kindness to exploring together how your lived experiences impact you. I feel honored to guide my clients to come to know and accept themselves fully, to navigate tough situations with greater ease and calm, to clarify their values, and to connect to their intuition.
I work with women, teen girls and non-binary folks to enhance self awareness, to re-write limiting beliefs to be empowering, and to unapologetically prioritize their needs. My clients often learn take on risks with courage and less worry, to slow down and be present without guilt, and to pause to celebrate their accomplishments- instead of jumping to the next thing to do or improve.
Through working with me, you can expect to deeply connect with and accept all parts of yourself compassionately, even the messy, uncomfortable, or defended bits. My hope is you can find refuge in yourself and revel in who you are.
Healing can be an empowering, affirming and at times, even joyful process of transformation.
I am so glad you’re here. Though seeking therapy can feel intimidating and tough, uncomfortable contraction usually happens before vibrant expansion. I believe we are all immensely capable of healing ourselves and living deeply satisfying lives. You are bravely taking a first step for you or another girl or woman in your life and I applaud you.
My Commitment
Though you may have experienced moments of confusion, self-doubt, and judgment- there is nothing wrong with you. Our struggles are also often the source of our transformation and power. I commit to being a warm and compassionate witness to your journey, to celebrate your strengths, to create a supportive container for you to accept and learn to trust all parts of yourself, and to honor your wisdom and own intuitive solutions to challenges.
In our work together, you may:
Become more comfortable with vulnerability and able to embody your authentic self in more spaces.
Learn to put less pressure on yourself and offer yourself more grace and kindness daily.
Learn to be with and transform difficult feelings and moments with ease.
Revel in moments of joy, relaxation, pleasure, and creativity guilt-free and unapologetically.
Be able to enjoy alone time with more comfort and less loneliness.
Adopt lifestyle and self care practices that enhance your holistic wellbeing-not just address surface symptoms.
Love all parts of who you are- your imperfect, wounded, and gorgeously unique bits.

GUIDING VALUES
-
Curiosity & Courage
It takes curiosity & bravery to burn down past understandings, unhelpful habits, and beliefs that no longer serve us-and to take the steps necessary to change. Shining a light on all parts of ourselves requires nonjudgmental exploration and openness, to discover new more empowered ways of being.
-
Presence & Compassion
We can shift our relationships to difficult experiences and feelings through becoming aware of our moment-to-moment experience. Offering ourselves compassion and acceptance by tending lovingly to wounded parts, giving ourselves grace and speaking to ourselves kindly can promote profound healing.
-
Rest & Reveling
Rest is not only our birthright but key to nervous system regulation. We can gain tremendous insight in pausing unapologetically, peace in slowing down without guilt, and pleasure in reveling in joyful experiences and nourishing self-care practices. In quiet, we may also hear our own longings and voice.
